Accessibility

We believe the creator economy should be accessible to all — including people with disabilities. We are working to make Pawania meet WCAG 2.1 Level AA standards across all surfaces.

Our Commitment

We design with accessibility in mind from the start. Our web platform uses semantic HTML, ARIA labels, keyboard navigation, and sufficient colour contrast. Our mobile apps support screen readers (TalkBack on Android, VoiceOver on iOS) and system font scaling.

Current Status

We are actively working towards full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance. Some areas of the platform are still being improved. We prioritise accessibility fixes in every development sprint.

Features

  • Full keyboard navigation on web
  • Screen reader support (TalkBack, VoiceOver)
  • High contrast mode and system contrast respect
  • Reduced motion support via prefers-reduced-motion
  • System font scaling on mobile
  • Minimum 44×44px touch targets
  • Closed captions on video content (where provided by creator)
  • Alt text on platform images and icons

Known Limitations

Some user-generated content (videos, images) may not include captions or alt text — this depends on the creator. We encourage creators to add accessibility metadata when uploading content. Some third-party payment provider flows may have limited accessibility.
